I suggest keeping an eye out for deals, bundled offers, discounts and trade-in values that bring the prices down by $300 or more. Both phones will have fluctuating prices throughout the holiday season -- check out CNET's guide to the best Black Friday phone deals. Samsung prices tend to fall as the months go on, so your chance of snagging a deal are high. Plus, a surprise recommendation at the end if you're not sold on using the S Pen stylus daily.

The Note 20's 3x optical to 30x AI-assisted zoom is still good as well, and better than the Galaxy Z Fold 2 (which has 2x optical zoom), but image quality at 30x was better on the Ultra than on the regular Note 20. Most of the time the Note 20 will fulfill your photographic needs. But when I took them both to the moody Northern California coast, many of my nature shots were simply better on the Ultra and I stopped reaching for the note 20 altogether.

Most people will be happier with the cheaper Note 20 over the Ultra, but again, I think Samsung has overcharged for both phones at their full retail price, and I find the Note 20's $1,000 price tag for what is essentially a plastic phone cheeky at best and insulting at worst.

Here's another alternative within the Samsung cosmos. The newer Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) is a middle way. It merges some of the Ultra's best features with the Note 20's cost-cutting trade-offs, bringing you a 6.5-inch display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate, a big 4,500-mAh battery, 3x optical zoom and a rear plastic backing. There's expandable storage, too, and of course, support for 5G data speeds.

Quality of Svc. (QoS): Quality of Service (QoS): During congestion, heavy data users (>50 GB/mo. for most plans) and customers choosing lower-prioritized plans (i.e. Essentials, 30 GB & 50 GB tablet/MBB) may notice lower speeds than other customers; see plan for details. Smartphone and tablet usage is prioritized over Mobile Hotspot Service (tethering) usage, which may result in higher speeds for data used on smartphones and tablets. Unlimited data on our Network. See for details.

Other Terms: Offer/coverage not available everywhere or for all phones/networks. May not be combinable with other offers. Accounts that cancel lines within 30 days of activating on promo pricing may void savings. Restrictions apply. See store or for details. 2023 - All Rights Reserved.

An important note on trade-ins here is that they cannot exceed the value of the phone, so if you try to trade in say an iPhone 11 Pro Max, you might not be able to trade it for a Pixel 7, but you can trade it in for a Pixel 7 Pro.

Battery life: Your hotspot should be able to last a full workday and give you plenty of breathing room. Though 10 hours advertised run time is the absolute minimum worth considering, the best hotspots can approach 20 hours.

The real reason to get this hotspot, advanced age and all, is the choice of high-usage-friendly rate plans that Verizon introduced in July 2021. But if you want the best prices on large amounts of data, you need to have an existing monthly unlimited plan with Verizon.

Galaxy S9 can also be paired with no-contract plans from Boost Mobile, giving consumers an additional way to save and find the best option to fit their needs. Available in Midnight Black, customers can purchase Galaxy S9 beginning on Friday, March 16.

Capable device required for some features. Not combinable with certain offers. Switching plans may cause you to lose current plan/feature benefits; ask a rep for details. Max 6 lines. Plan not available for hotspots and some other data-first devices. Video streams at up to 2.5Mbps (SD). Optimization may affect speed of video downloads; does not apply to video uploads. For best performance, leave any video streaming applications at their default automatic resolution setting. Tethering at max 3G speeds. For customers using >50GB/mo., primary data usage must be on smartphone or tablet. Smartphone/tablet usage is prioritized over Mobile Hotspot (tethering) usage, which may result in higher speeds for data used on smartphones and tablets. AutoPay Pricing for lines 1-6. The cameras are not the best, buy they should deliver reasonable great photos, especially when in plentiful of light and minimal distractions are detected. The back has a 5MP snapper while the front comes with a 2MP shooter. The main camera is helped by features such as f/1.9 aperture and LED flash to deliver better photos when in the dark. The front snapper has an f/2.2 aperture, which is not bad either.

As noted earlier, it is only Sprint that has listed this Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge on a discount of $66.99, meaning you can get one for $168. Getting the same phone on Samsung or Best Buy will set you back $234.99.

While you should take a look at your carrier's deals, your best bet is likely to buy your device from Samsung directly. Samsung's store carries every model unlocked, as well as through Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular, and all colors are available. Plus, you'll get a free 6-month subscription to Spotify Premium.

If you own an older Samsung phone, you'll see two major design differences here. First: The headphone jack is gone. I know, I know, but most other flagship phones have dropped the jack as well, and the best headphones are wireless now. Also, dongles.

According to our Best Mobile Network tests, T-Mobile is the top carrier in the US. After driving through 30 cities and six rural regions across more than 10,000 miles, we found that T-Mobile's mid-band 5G network is as good as it gets. If you haven't gotten on the T-Mobile 5G train, it is definitely time to jump on board. You need a new 5G phone to take advantage of the network, though, and that's where this list of our favorite phones we've tested can help. If you're shopping on your own, make sure that your phone supports LTE frequency bands 12 and 71, as well as 5G band n41, to ensure the best coverage on T-Mobile.

In 2016, Sprint began a major television advertising campaign that promoted its reliability as being within 1% of other major providers, such as Verizon. The advertisements featured Paul Marcarelli, an American actor once known for pitching Verizon with the phrase "Can you hear me now?" In the ads, Marcarelli noted that he had switched to Sprint and touted pricing of approximately half that of other providers, commenting "Can you hear that?" The ads featured the slogan "Don't let a 1% difference cost you twice as much."[136]

Comfort, adjustability and acceleration are all key when evaluating the best scuba diving fins. ScubaLab's team of test divers put 13 pairs of new open-heel, barefoot and freedive fins to the test, providing ratings and comments for this real-world review of the best scuba fins for 2021. Check out the fin reviews below and visit our gear page for more on the latest ScubaLab reviews.

Q: Why did you award one fin both Testers Choice and Best Buy?A: To be considered as a Testers Choice, gear must show outstanding performance during our head-to-head testing. Additionally, it must be chosen by a majority of test divers as a favorite over the competition. When designating a Best Buy, we look for gear that provides above-average performance at a below-average price that gives divers the best bang for their buck. In the case of the Imprex Duo, not only did it score excellent and very good scores across all of our performance categories and get picked as a favorite by an overwhelming majority of test divers, but it was also the least expensive fin in its category.

Sprint Unlimited Kickstart is best for those that want to lock in unlimited data direct from a major provider at a low $35/month price. Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile Unlimited may have slightly better networks but they are also significantly more expensive. 041b061a72
